• Exterior / Boards: The pictorial dust jacket is protected in a Mylar sleeve. The boards beneath the jacket are not described. The spine is straight and the lettering is clear and legible.
• Interior: The opening spread and imprint page are clean and bright, with no markings.
• The Dust Jacket: Present. The front panel is clean and glossy, showing a leopard drinking. The back panel, with a baboon and infant on a dark ground, has noticeable scuffing, scratches and rub marks. The spine is straight and the lettering legible. Protected in a Mylar sleeve.

Greater Kruger: The Big Picture, published by HPH Publishing in 2004, is a large and generously illustrated photographic celebration of the Greater Kruger area of South Africa and its wildlife. The full-page colour photographs are by the van den Berg family, and the book carries a foreword by Dr. David Mabunda.

The book was among the early titles from HPH Publishing, the house founded by wildlife photographer Heinrich van den Berg in 2001. Author Profile: Heinrich van den Berg, Philip van den Berg and Ingrid van den Berg

Heinrich van den Berg is an award-winning wildlife photographer, writer and publisher based in Johannesburg. He founded HPH Publishing in 2001 and has since published more than forty full-colour wildlife titles.

Philip and Ingrid van den Berg are husband-and-wife photographers, with earlier careers in environmental education and biological sciences. The family have also produced other Kruger titles, including Kruger Self-Drive.
