Synopsis & Historical Value

The Prime Origins Guide to Exploring Kruger, subtitled Your Key to Unlocking Africa's Wildlife Treasure, is a practical guide to Kruger National Park, published in Cape Town by Prime Origins. It helps visitors plan and tailor their trip, whether they hope to see as many animals as possible or to find solitude in the bush.

The guide is richly illustrated with colour photographs and indexed by subjects such as wildlife, trees, rivers, roads and camps. It also draws attention to sites of archaeological interest in areas once occupied by humans, giving the park a deeper human context than the usual game-viewing handbook.

Signed by a previous owner and carrying its original bookshop sticker, this is a useful, honestly worn copy of a Kruger reference from the mid-2000s, suited to Kruger enthusiasts and collectors of South African wildlife and travel titles.
