Condition: Very Good. This book is in very good condition. The DJ has some signs of wear and tear and paper loss but the pages are slightly tanned but clean, intact and the spine remains undamaged. Verwoerd was an authoritarian, socially conservative leader and an Afrikaner nationalist. He was a member of the Afrikaner Broederbond, an exclusively white and Calvinist secret society dedicated to Afrikaner interests, and like many members of the organization had verbally supported Germany during World War II.
The author asks the questions Verwoerd - the dictator? - the fanatic? A Moses or a Hitler? And most importantly where is he leading South Africa?
