Synopsis & Historical Value

Warships Today: Over 200 of the World's Deadliest Warships was published in 2004 by Silverdale Books and edited by Charlotte Judet. It is a large, lavishly illustrated reference to the major warships in service around the world at the time of publication.

Each vessel or class is shown in full-colour artwork alongside a box of detailed technical specifications. The chapters range across aircraft carriers, submarines, surface action groups and amphibious forces, giving a broad view of modern naval power at the turn of the twenty-first century.

A useful reference for naval enthusiasts, modellers and collectors of militaria, and a snapshot of the world's fleets in the early 2000s.
