Synopsis & Historical Value
The Puffin Baby and Toddler Treasury is a generous anthology for very young children, gathering well-loved nursery rhymes, lullabies, poems, songs and short stories in a single richly illustrated volume.
Familiar Puffin favourites appear among its pages, including Spot, The Snowman and Tom Kitten. The verse and stories draw on writers such as A. A. Milne, Edward Lear and Robert Louis Stevenson, and the illustrations come from a range of well-known children's artists, among them Shirley Hughes, Alison Jay, Nick Sharratt and Tony Ross.
