This book has clearly been well maintained and looked after thus far. The book is protected with a Cellophane cover. Inscribed on the first page. Tanning of pages. 

The two water-colours reproduced on this dust jacket were among ten paintings illustrating different aspects of the College buildings, specially commissioned for the centenary by the Durban Girls College Old Girls Guild. The originals now hang in the College senior resources centre. Prints of these paintings were sold to swell Centenary funds.
