From the ages of seventeen to twenty-five, Lolly Jackson worked in numerous positions from diamond cutter, second-hand and new car salesman to sales manager for Rossi Candy. He sold motor oil additives and started his own motor dealership on the notorious Jules Street. After closing this dealership he sold biltong and helmets and had a stint as a personnel agent whilst deejaying in his spare time. Lolly had so many positions that after the 24th he lost count. The day he resigned from National Reef Paving was when he declared that he would never again work for a boss. Lolly decided that he wanted to run his own life, determine his own income, pay salaries and be the boss. Playing and working hard were all part and parcel of his desire to succeed and they still form the basic tenets of his business philosophy. In 1983, he started Impressive Paving, a paving company that competed effectively against the big names in the industry. He sold the company in 1989, having achieved his first million and then too a 6-month sabbatical. In late 1990 he opened a new paving company that he operated until 1998. It was during this time that Lolly developed an interest in the adult entertainment industry that led to the opening of the first Teazers in Primrose, Germiston. This is Lolly's story.
