Synopsis & Historical Value
My Bybel net oor Jesus (My Bible Just About Jesus) is an Afrikaans children's picture book, published by Lux Verbi.BM in Wellington in 2005. It retells the life of Jesus in short illustrated Bible stories.
The narrative follows Jesus from his birth in Bethlehem through his miracles and teaching to his death and resurrection, in simple language suited to young readers and with colour illustrations on every opening.
A pleasing copy of an Afrikaans children's religious title, of interest to collectors of Afrikaans youth literature and religious books, and a good gift for a family or church library.
