A splendid book. Krauss makes a highly persuasive case for the phased withdrawal of U.S troops from Europe and Korea. His analysis is cogent, informed and thoughtful. It deserves serious consideration by the powers that be. Krauss also makes the case that NATO, which was tailored to post-World War 2 realities is not only obsolete but counterproductive today in combating soviet expansionism.
