The most famous of the Rhenish Mission stations was, and still is, Genadendal, where Bibles were printed and which had, and still has, craftworkers in velskoen footwear and other trades. Accessible at the end of a long and steep dead-end gravel road, Genadendal remains a specialised destination, especially for occasional German tour-groups.
