This book has clearly been well maintained and looked after thus far. The book is protected with a Cellophane cover.. Rubber stamp on the front first page. Light tanning.

It takes some 80 plus randomly selected old LMS stations and gives you a condensed history, a few photographs, and a track plan of how it was when steam was king, of each and every one of them. Some of the stations may no longer exist, others may have been severly "modernised" or truncated, but regardless of that this book along with all other books that reflect on the history of railways are just as important as those that record our nations political and socialogical history.
An excellent book that will appeal to the modeller, historian or the merely curious.
