Used - Very Good. This book is in very good condition. The wraps have some slight/limited signs of wear and the pages are clean, intact and the spine remains undamaged. The wraps are slightly shelf rubbed with very slight knocking at the back. The blocks have some minor marks. This book has clearly been well maintained and looked after thus far.

Translation of the diary of Johann Paul Kremer corrected by Zbigniew Bezwinski; footnotes and biographical notes edited by Jadwiga Bezwinska and Danuta Czech; translated from the German by Constantine Fitzgibbon and Krystyna Michalik, with a foreword by Jerzy Rawicz.

With 40 pages of photographic plates, contents include: foreword by Jersy Rawicz - Autobiography of Rudolf Höss - Reminiscences of Pery Broad - Diary of Johann Paul Kremer - Epilogue by Mieczyslaw Kieta - Appendices: Deposition of Stanislaw Dubiel; Report of Janina Szczurek; SS ranks and their Wehrmacht equivalents;

Biographical notes.

What you do perceive from this book is that all three participants where what you could call normal in any other circumstances. Hoss never regretted what he had done but believed that he was doing the right thing. Broad comes over as someone who was just doing his job and could not care less. Kremer's diaries seem to reflect just what was happening to him.
