Two volumes (complete). In Afrikaans. These two books were published some 25 years or more before Breytenbach's magisterial and authoritative History of the Anglo Boer War. They are, in a sense, a precursor.
Volume I: 'Voorspel Tot die Stryd'. The boards have slight wear and scuffing. The contents are in a very good condition. The pages are clean and clear.
Vol II: 'Ontplooiing van die Boere-Offensief Oktober 1899' (pub: 1949). The condition is very similar to that of Volume I.
