Eddowes has formulated quite a theory that basically goes like this: Lee Harvey Oswald either defected to the Soviet Union or went there to attend college, but was never to return. The KGB then sent an impostor Oswald to Dallas with the mission of killing the President. Jack Ruby was an accomplice that killed Oswald to shut him up.
The author may be way off base, but his idea is unique and well presented. This is an interesting idea to add to the many conspiracies floating around about the assassination. There is compelling evidence--such as the fluctuating height of Oswald between 5'9 and 5'11, and the scars from Oswald do not match the scars observed at the autopsy. But there is also critical evidence, like the fingerprints of Oswald from his Marine days matching the dead body of Oswald (this same author convinced a judge to exhume Oswald's body to compare dental records, which match Marine Oswald). The author suggests that the KGB must have switched fingerprint and dental records to match their spy.
