Used - Very Good. This book is in very good condition. The DJ has some limited signs of wear and tear but the pages are clean, intact and the spine remains undamaged. This book has clearly been well maintained and looked after thus far. The book is protected with a Cellophane cover. Blue cover boards with gilt writing to the spine & front cover, binding is tight & strong, age browning to front & rear pages.
The Alphabetical list of Artists contains the names of well over four hundred persons who made pictures of South African interest prior to 1875, giving biographical data, notes on their work, references, etc.
