Nigerian poet, art critic, art historian, and curator Okwui Enwezor (1963-2019) was the Director of Haus der Kunst in Munich from 2011 to 2018, as well as the founder and editor of the journal NKA: Journal for Contemporary African Art. In 2015 he became the first African curator of the central exhibition at the Venice Biennale.
Rory Bester is an art historian, critic, curator, and documentary filmmaker, and a lecturer at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg.
